Company
For Adviser Firms
What we look for, what an introduction from us actually is, and why we would rather send you five suitable enquiries than fifty.
You have almost certainly bought leads before, and you have almost certainly regretted it. A name and a number, sold simultaneously to five of your competitors, from someone who filled in a form to get a pension calculator. We built this because we thought that was a bad trade for everybody in it.
What an introduction from us is
A person has read the enquiry. They know the client’s objective, their broad asset and pension position, their timeline, their age band and circumstances, whether they already have an adviser, and how they prefer to be contacted. The client has consented, by name, to their details being passed to one firm.
What we do not do
- Sell the same enquiry to several firms
- Pass on a name and number with no context
- Let firms bid for position or volume
- Send you work outside your permissions
- Promise volume we cannot match to your specialism
What we do
- One enquiry, one firm, matched by hand
- The full answer set, in writing, before you call
- Match on specialism, size and approach
- Check your permissions cover the work first
- Send fewer, better enquiries, and say so
What we look for
The standard is public, and it is the same for everyone. We publish it in full on how we vet advisers, and we apply it before your first introduction and continuously thereafter.
- 1
FCA authorisation and the right permissions
Confirmed on the register, and matched to the work. We will not send you a defined-benefit transfer enquiry unless you hold the pension transfer permission.
- 2
Qualifications and genuine specialism
At least the Level 4 minimum. Where the work demands more, AF7, STEP, Resolution accreditation, we check for it.
- 3
Track record, and how you handle complaints
A complaint is not disqualifying. A pattern is, and so is how a firm behaves when challenged.
- 4
Fees a client can understand
You must be able to tell a prospective client, in writing and in pounds, what they will pay initially and annually. Vagueness about cost is the fastest way out of the network.
How it works commercially
Firms pay for introductions. Clients never pay us anything, and we say so on every page, because a consumer who does not know who funds a free service is right to be suspicious of it.
What a fee cannot buy: preference in matching, a higher position, more enquiries than your specialism and capacity warrant, a mention in a guide, or any influence whatsoever over editorial content. Our editorial policy makes that firewall explicit, and we would rather lose a partner than quietly breach it. Commercial terms are set out in writing before any introduction is made.
Introducer status
Vetted Wealth is an introducer and does not give regulated advice. The regulated relationship, the suitability assessment, and responsibility for the advice sit entirely with your firm. Our terms of use set that out plainly to consumers as well. The precise legal basis on which we make introductions is confirmed with our regulatory advisers, and set out in the partnership agreement before any introduction is made.
Where we are, and where we are going
We are live across Devon and Cornwall, covering every town across fourteen areas of advice, with further counties opening through 2026. We would rather have one excellent firm per specialism per area than a directory. If your area is already well served we will tell you that, honestly, rather than take your money.
Talk to us
Write to support@vettedwealth.co.uk with your firm name, FCA firm reference number, the areas of advice you specialise in, and where you are based. We will check the register before we reply, it saves us both a conversation. General enquiries go through the contact page.
In short
- One enquiry, one firm, matched by a person who has read it.
- The four-point standard applies before your first introduction, and continuously after.
- Fees buy introductions. They never buy preference, volume, or editorial coverage.
- Fewer, better-matched enquiries, and an honest answer if your area is already covered.
