Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Vetted Wealth when you use this website or ask to be introduced to an adviser.

By using this website you accept these terms. They matter most in one respect: Vetted Wealth introduces you to advisers. It does not advise you. Everything else follows from that.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Vetted Wealth (“we”, “us”), which operates vettedwealth.co.uk from the United Kingdom. Our company registration details and registered office are available on request at support@vettedwealth.co.uk. Last updated 13 July 2026.

What we do

We are an introducer. We ask about your circumstances, we vet adviser firms against our own standard, and we introduce you to one firm we believe fits. That introduction is free to you: we are paid by the adviser firms in our network, never by you. How we are paid is set out plainly on how it works.

Our regulatory position: Vetted Wealth is an introducer. We do not carry on regulated financial-services activities (we do not advise on, arrange, or recommend financial products) and we introduce consumers only to firms authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Regulated advice, and responsibility for it, rests entirely with the firm we introduce you to. The precise legal basis on which we make introductions is confirmed with our regulatory advisers.

What we do not do

Vetted Wealth does not

  • Give financial, investment, tax, mortgage or legal advice
  • Recommend, arrange, or sell any financial product
  • Manage money, hold client money, or execute transactions
  • Guarantee that an adviser will accept you as a client
  • Guarantee any particular outcome, return, or saving

Vetted Wealth does

  • Publish free information and guides, written to be accurate and useful
  • Check FCA authorisation, permissions, qualifications, track record and fee clarity
  • Introduce you to one adviser firm, not a bidding panel
  • Tell you before we pass your details on, and only with your consent
  • Correct our content when it is wrong, see the editorial policy

Nothing on this website is personal advice. The guides describe how things generally work in the UK; they cannot know your circumstances. Regulated advice comes only from the adviser firm you engage, and your agreement is with them.

The adviser is independent of us

When we introduce you to an adviser firm, any advice, service, contract, fee and liability arises between you and that firm. We are not a party to it. We do not supervise their advice and we are not responsible for it. The firm is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and you will have the protections that brings, including, in most cases, access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Check the firm’s own disclosures.

If something goes wrong with the advice, complain to the adviser firm first. If your complaint is about our service, the introduction, this website, or how we handled your data, use our complaints procedure.

Using this website

  • You may read, print and share our content for your own non-commercial use.
  • You may not copy, republish, scrape or systematically extract our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
  • You must not submit false information, other people’s details without their authority, or anything unlawful.
  • You must not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or the enquiry form.
  • All content, branding and design on this site is owned by us or licensed to us.

We link to third-party websites, the FCA register, for example. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Liability

We take care that our information is accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free, or suitable for your circumstances. Tax rules, allowances and thresholds change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on this website, from any introduction, or from any act or omission of an adviser firm.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Investment risk

Investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is not a guide to the future. Equity release and later-life lending reduce the value of your estate and may affect entitlement to means-tested benefits. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage. A defined-benefit pension transfer is usually irreversible.

Changes, and the law that applies

We may change these terms; the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies. We may suspend or withdraw the site at any time. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Your personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy.

The short version

  • We introduce; we do not advise. Advice comes from the FCA-regulated firm we introduce you to.
  • The introduction is free to you. Advisers pay us.
  • Your contract for advice is with the adviser firm, and so is their liability.
  • Complain to the adviser about advice; complain to us about our service.
